My generation has seen digital transfromation in the enjoyment of music.

I still remember my first Walkman, yellow and black, the famous cassette eater, which I carried around and allowed me to listen to my favorite songs… and then a new evolution that saw the cassette eater supplanted by the CD player.
The transformation with respect to the enjoyment of music did not stop and in the 2000s my first iPod, small, white and unobtrusive had become the ideal companion for runs in the park and later the arrival of smartphones.

I still remember my first smartphone in 2009 … I was fascinated … but at the same time, annoyed because I realized that smartphones were involving so many aspects of our daily lives, not only with respect to music enjoyment and all that with its pros and cons.
Smartphones were becoming and have now become an integral part of our lives to solve many daily leisure and business needs: from listening to music changing fruition habits through on-demand platforms such as Spotify and Amazon music, to the ability to email, text, book vacations, shop, play games, bank, look at the clock, manage the appointment book, take pictures (replacing the camera altogether), study, etc…

We have experienced a great digital transformation in the enjoyment of music with a marked improvement for everyone!
I wouldn’t go back on this digital transfromation either because today’s advantages are unequivocal…being able to listen to the music we like right away without the need to have to buy a cassette/disc/cd… but I remember getting the cassette and then the CD of my favorite singer of the moment as a gift.
